Two dives. The first was a wreck. We dropped down to an anchor and followed the chain for about 100 feet to the ship.

Along the way we found a few friends.

The wreck was surrounded by schools of fish.

And yes, there was a ship. It was just too big and the water a bit too murky to get a good shot.

Just before surfacing, we ran into a school of barracuda!

The second dive was a reef dive. More friends.

We swam around one feature with a lot of life. Tiny fish.

Lobster.

Frog fish.

Then swam on some more. Nudibranch. (This one’s probably as big as my thumb.)

And, of course, turtles! (This one’s probably as big as my coffee table.)

One of the turtles wanted some privacy and went off for some air.
There were three divers. One doing his first unconfined training dive. One who is a divemaster with over 500 dives — she works in marine conservation and sometimes dives for work. And me. Completing dive 92 and 93!
We all went to lunch afterward. Then I came back to the hotel and had a nap. It’s about dinner time now, then bed, then do it all again!
