Did three dives today.
There was an emergency on the first dive.
There are probably 50 divers on the boat; my group was three divers and one dive guide.
Someone from another group had an emergency underwater. She lost consciousness.
A guide brought her up. They did CPR.
An emergency boat came and took her.
When I last heard, she was breathing on her own and awake.
I’ve never seen something like that before.
I might have been the only one not taking pictures of it.
I stayed nearby until I heard she was breathing on her own.
Just in case the divemasters who were working on her needed someone to take over chest compressions.
Very scary.
Three more dives tomorrow. Hoping for less excitement.
