I spent the past week working later-in-the-day hours to match my Data Engineers. It’s tough starting the day so late! I had marked on my calendar noon to 10pm, but generally made it into the office by 10am. Only a couple more days like that, and then I’ll switch to more business-like hours to collaborate with my BI/Analytics team.
Spent one day out in Kiserian working from the same repurposed petrol station as last time. More rain this time.
Enjoyed the Nairobi National Museum on Saturday.
There was quite a lot!
Including fossils of early man dug up in Kenya.
On the way out they guided you through a “Birds of East Africa” section. Way too much to take in!
After, I grabbed pizza at La Villa. Someone had recommended it for having good pizza. It was pretty good!
I had very little caffeine Friday or Saturday, and none on Sunday. So Sunday has been mostly lounging around with very little energy. At least no headache.
I still need to meal prep with the groceries I bought Saturday. We’ll see.
