It’s Friday. Things have been busy! I slept 10 hours last night. Ha!
Mostly work focused week. I did go to a jazz piano concert on Tuesday. The performer is an Austrian friend of my Austrian friends. What a weird coincidence that he was playing here!
But more importantly, a new supermarket opened up next to the office. Well, technically it was open when I was there last, but it wasn’t well stocked. By well stocked, I mean it didn’t have Coke Zero. Now it does!
Now that the water issues are fixed and a couple lighting issues are fixed, the apartment I’m staying in feels much better. It’s pretty small. I definitely won’t stay here again, but it’s not bad.
Oh, and did you see the news? There was an election. Here’s what my colleagues think about it.
They asked if I was just going to stay in Kenya. That is, until I asked about the state of their politics.
Mostly today I just did laundry and relaxed. Groceries and meal prepping tomorrow I think.
