There’s a restaurant called Wok On Wheels that I like. It’s a food truck located just up the street from me. It’s delivery only, but I figured I’d go order takeaway in person. I should have realized something was up when UberEats wouldn’t let me order takeaway — only delivery. Still, a little walk wouldn’t hurt and I’m sure I can order from them in person.
The walk should only have been about 6 minutes. A fairly straight shot from my apartment.
But I got to the highway and hadn’t seen the truck!
I thought I knew where it was from Google Maps, but didn’t see anything. I walked back and around the neighborhood for a bit, but never found it!
So I made my own lunch and watched the new Turtles movie instead. (On my laptop because I couldn’t figure out how to get it to stream to the TV.)
I still wanted to know where the food truck was! I decided to order delivery for dinner and watch the driver’s GPS to see where the pickup happened.
Sure enough! GPS tells the story: the food truck wasn’t along the road I thought it was. It was inside an apartment complex, behind their security gate. I had no chance!
Still. Got some good food and (mostly) solved the food mystery.
