No work today so I slept in a bit. When I woke, this is what it looked like outside.
I waited for a break in the rain then went for breakfast at Le Grenier à Pain.
After which I did some shopping. Part way through the shopping I sat and had a snack. Got a visitor while I was sitting. Just jumped up and went to sleep.
Continued to get some groceries, then back to the apartment. Laundry was done and delivered to me, but hadn’t yet dried so it’s strung up in the living room. (Outside is too wet!)
Caught up with colleagues after they finished work for drinks and some food at the bar at the top of The Social House.
Then back, thorough the rain, to be confronted by this.
Yup. I got pretty wet the first few flights. Fortunately the flooding started pretty low so once I was past the rest of the stairs were fine. I hope it’s just a bad design and not that something flooded which shouldn’t!
