Did a nice little hike in Karura Forest, about 15 minute Uber ride from my Airbnb.

It was weird to go for a hike and not see a high fire danger. Texas is so hot!

Trails were nicely marked.

One of the main highlights is a nice little waterfall. They have some benches I sat on and just zoned out for a bit.

Then continued walking a big loop through a lot of trees.

Not a crazy hike, but a good 2 hours and nearly 6 miles. Not bad.

And all of that while it was in the 60s, not the 90s. So strange to not need 3 bottles of water for a two hour hike!
Flight home is late tomorrow night. I’m packed and have a plan for storing my bags in the office while I find some ways to occupy my time until I need to leave.
Now I think I’ll put on a movie or something and call it an early night.
