Rained overnight, but the ocean was calm by morning.
Took the boat about 25 minutes to get to the first dive site.
I hardly looked up from the reef!
At one point the dive guide indicated that he thought he saw a whale shark, but I’m not so sure.
Fortunately, looking at the reef also revealed some fish. Lots of fish.
The second dive site I tried to look up more.
Though not 100%.
But there were a lot more fish to look at.
Very colorful.
I need to find a seafood restaurant!
Or just reach out my hand.
I had some difficulty with my flash, so these are very heavily processed.
Oh. And did I mention the turtles?
The dive guide says he say nine. I saw five.
Sometimes they are pretty easy to spot.
The way back took a long time — long enough for me to get a bit too much sun — because the tide had gone out and the boat had to navigate around rocks in very shallow water.
Today we did Kinondo and Galu.
Hope for good weather so we can try two more spots tomorrow!
