Woken by an alarm going off repeatedly this morning.
Then an hour or two later, when I’m getting ready to head outside, I find a visitor a few doors down from me.

And another across the parking lot on the roof of a building.

So I stayed inside for a little longer.
I got onto Delta’s website to try rebooking my flight home through their chat. The first two people I interacted with couldn’t do it and I got put in the queue for a “ticket specialist.” Wait time was predicted to be 4 hours!
I went into the office, got back online, and had not lost my place! I kept the browser window open until someone got back to me. It took them 4.5 hours, but in the end they got me booked on flights back to the US.
By then I was hungry. Went with a colleague to a bakery for a sandwich.

A bunch of work. Left at a reasonable hour. The security guard at my apartment complex even commented that I had gotten back much earlier than usual!
Oh, that bakery? I may have picked up some extras. Dinner was good!
