A boat dive today at an island a few minutes speedboat ride away.
Started the dive with some dead fish. Caught in a net that must’ve been lost or discarded.

Then some more lively fish.

Lots of color again, now that I’m figuring out this flash.

A giant clam shell, with fish swimming around it.

Such colorful fish too. If only they’d stop for a second and pose for me!

These guys are my favorite. White tufted worm. Soon as I took this picture, all those little tendrils recoiled back, out of sight.

No. I’m not swimming crooked. The fish are.

Saw a few starfish toward the end of the dive.

Swam through a school of these. My flash doesn’t reach that far so it’s very blue.

Then we were done. Back to the shop, clean our gear, and leave. It was only a single dive so I was back in the apartment by 2pm. I had a little to eat, showered, and tried to think of something to do.
Got it!

I called a cab and got a ride in to the Acropolis. It was weird going back to the place where this whole trip started. I walked similar streets that I walked before.
And I ventured further north than I had gone on my first time through. Lots of little shops and restaurants.

And other sites I hadn’t seen before. Like Temple of Olympian Zeus, just beyond the Acropolis.

Then I walked some more, looking for a place to eat. I stopped at an Indian restaurant. Good reviews, and I figured I’m closer to India now than in Texas so it must be better. (It was.)
One last dive tomorrow, then I haver to dry my gear and pack it for the flight home.
