Today’s plan: two dives with Eurodivers. They’re the shop I dove with initially, not the one I did my training with. They planned two dives, one of which was to the cavern. So I could get some GoPro footage of it!
Today’s reality: canceled due to wind.
I made it to the dive shop, and sat in the adjoining cafe for about an hour before they decided to cancel.

Today’s new plan: go to Naousa. It’s the other town on Paros that gets a lot of people. Mostly clubs and late nights, so I had no real interest in visiting. Even right off the bus you start to see clubs.

The town itself is in the same style as Parikia.

And like the rest of the island: no boats because of the wind.

A lot more boats docked along the road.

I was there in the morning on a Saturday, so I think most people were sleeping off the Friday night parties.

Like the rest of Greece, they have cats everywhere.

And ice cream.

And shops, both tourist trinkets and clothing. I don’t quite understand why one would go on vacation and shop for belts.

Or clothes for that matter, but I’m not a big shopper.

Walked up into the hills across from the center of town.

Walked along the shore some, trying not to get splashed.

Then headed back, tired and with sore feet. Packed. Ate. Did dishes. Took out recycling. Watched a movie. Discovered the real reason they built that platform.
Ferry to Santorini tomorrow afternoon at 2:15.
