Started the day in Naxos, walking the streets and exploring the incredibly small, twisty, and confusing streets.
Ferry left at 9:30 and arrived at Paros around 10:30.
Then I picked up my camera and walked around my neighborhood, capturing random snapshots that gave a feel for what Parika is like.
Dinner was meant to be lobster. I hadn’t had any so far this trip because it’s really expensive, but decided to splurge. However I learned something: the restaurants don’t keep lobster in the kitchen. You have to ask for it in advance so they can tell their fisherman to bring one. Talk about fresh! Another day perhaps…
I had gilt-head instead, while I started reading one of Michael Crichton’s books that he wrote while in medical school. It’s one of the last works of his that I hadn’t yet read.

By then my feet were hurting, so I went back to my rooms and continued reading. Taking a break to get a Coke Zero at sunset.

Then back again to read. I am nearly done, so the rest of my evening will be reading. Tomorrow is back to work.
