Greece : Day 20 : Planning

I had thoughts of a crepe for breakfast, but awoke too early. Nothing had yet opened. So I walked a bit and found a place to get a chai.

Then went back to start looking at plans for the weekend. By the time I thought about food again, it was 11 and an early lunch sounded good. Of course, by then people were just waking up and looking for breakfast. I gave up and made some pasta instead.

Most of the day revolved around planning. Looking at flights. Adjusting for new dive days. Trying to figure out when to do a couple days on Naxos. In between, I’d go for walks. No place new, just outside with the waves showing the increase in wind.

Now my plan is to go to Naxos tomorrow for two nights, then come back on Monday. One dive Wednesday morning and two on Thursday. That completes my advanced course. I still don’t know what happens after Santorini. It looks like Zakynthos requires a flight through Athens on turboprop planes. Yuck. All because we decided against a London trip for work — we’re hoping to do a longer New York trip in December instead. Oh well. More planning to do.

Dinner on the balcony: gyro and a book. No complaints.
