Bad decision day. I don’t know why I keep eating American food overseas. It seems like a good idea to compare the differences between cultures. But it’s always so bad!
Lunch was from a NY-style pizza place with great reviews that was just up the street from me. It even had reviews from NYers who claimed it was good. They were wrong. I suppose it looked like pizza at least.

I couldn’t do much exploring during the day. I’m working. Not pretend working, but a regular work day. I did take a break at 5, packed up my camera, and headed down to the Eye. Sun had already set so it wasn’t the best conditions, but still a nice break.

Then it was time to continue my bad food decisions day. It happens in every country: McDonald’s. Dry burger, soggy fries, and all. The soggy fries really confused me. I had fish & chips on the first day I arrived and they were fantastic! McDonald’s can’t let the Brits cook fries the way they’ve perfected?

No more bad food hopefully. I even went grocery shopping so I’d have some good stuff for breakfast. Buying eggs from non-refrigerated shelves was weird, but that’s how they do it here. No washing the eggs means more natural protection means refrigeration isn’t needed. The USDA says the British are wrong; the British says we’re wrong.

Break’s over! Gotta do a little more work before bed.
