Ever wonder how they build a beach? Well, the beach here along the Gold Coast is slowly eroding away, so they’ve decided to dredge sand from out deeper and move it to the shore.
I got a couple dives in today, but the conditions were only slightly better than the lake I trained in. Once I have more experience, I’ll consider something like today a waste of a dive, but because it’s still so new I had a good time. Practiced hovering and tried (mostly unsuccessfully) to get my breathing under better control. I go through tanks too fast! Too many deep breaths.
I brought my GoPro and got a few videos. Nothing amazing, lots of gunk in the water, but a few fish swimming around.
