We spent the day about an hour’s drive away, in the Blue Mountains. Up first, the Three Sisters from Echo Point.
Followed by a hike to the Leura Cascades:
Then we hurried back to the car via the roads so our parking ticket wouldn’t expire, and went in search of food. Today’s late lunch was a meat pie. I was assured that, unlike in Sweeney Todd, there were no human remains in these pies.
There were great views from everywhere.
Once everyone’s legs were hurting from all the walking, we headed home. After dinner, we played with our host’s VR system. So much fun! It’s taking everything I have not to order one right now!
Tomorrow we pick up the rental car. Fingers crossed that I’ll be driving on the correct side of the road most of the time!
