Today was a driving day. We haven’t actually been in Kruger National Park, we’ve been on a private reserve owned by the tour company. So we had a day long drive to get to our next stop. We did some sightseeing along the way. Waterfalls, canyons, general outdoors-y stuff.
Which means not a lot of animals, but there was a really colorful lizard sunning itself as we walked by.
I’ll just drop a photo from yesterday here as well. A baby giraffe walking with it’s mother.
We get up at 5:00 tomorrow morning and spend the day in Kruger. The guides are trying to keep our expectations realistic, but I think we all hope to see a lot of animals! Especially the Big Five: elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard.
