Today didn’t have any animal interaction. We spent the morning cleaning poop and then working on an enclosure for the ostriches. After lunch, a group of about 10 of us went ziplining. No photos from that, because I didn’t bring my camera. Could you imagine dropping a camera from up there? Yikes!
On the route, however, we drove by the poorest housing I’ve ever seen. I snapped a quick pic out the window of the bus with my phone.
Instead of leaving on such a downer, how about a picture of one of these ostriches we’re working so hard for?
I head to Kruger National Park tomorrow at 5:30am. Maybe they’ll have WiFi. Maybe they’ll have cell coverage. But it is possible this is my last post for the next five days. If so, I’m not trapped at the bottom of a cavern, just out of network range.
